U.S. Program Features
We’ll work with you to select a mutually agreeable start date.
During the first week, you’ll attend a new hire orientation program either onsite or virtually, depending on your work location. You’ll complete your paperwork and learn about policy and programs, your organization and the summer ahead.
Our team works in a remote, hybrid or on-site way, depending on the needs of the role. Most of our intern roles are located in Southeast Michigan and follow a hybrid work pattern, combining working in person and remotely.
Ford provides students with hands-on, career-specific experience through full-time work. This is a great platform to connect with leadership, collaborate with professionals in many areas of the business and learn more about our Ford College Graduate opportunities. Throughout the internship, there are many opportunities to gain insight and exposure to our business that will last a lifetime.
Networking opportunities are key to a successful experience. We work hard to create opportunities for you to network with each other and Ford employees, including members of our executive leadership team.
Depending on your performance and Ford's business needs, you may be selected for full-time employment.
